I was hoping you can help me with problems I have had since Christmas. I was drinking quite a bit around the holidays and had sex frequently. I suddenly felt burning sensation during and mostly after urination. I had some lower abdominal and pelvic discomfort, frequent urination, and sensitivity at the very tip of my penis. I started to devleop some pressure under my ribs and around my back to the lower back. I visited my urologist and had several tests done inlucing a CT scan, urine test, bladder cultures etc. All tests were negative and no infection was found even though during my visit the urologist said there was microscopic blood in my urine which he prescribed a 10 day regiment of cypro. I didn't notice much change during and after the antibiotic. The urologist recommended watching my diet, caffine and alcohol intake - which I have been. He also mentioned prostatitis and/or urethritis and gave me a hand out. Most of my symptoms have improved but I am still experiencing a burning sensation at the tip of the penis. It is sensitive after urination and other times all day long. Any recommendations you may have are greatly appreciated.
