Recently I have had testicular pain (6 weeks) which comes and goes. Doctrs gave me tests for testicular cancer, taken antibiotics for STDs like chalymydia or Gonnorhead (just in case) and have elimnated other possibilites such as hernia and PSA test - which came back with normal results.

I have been taking Finasteride for 6 years with good results for hair loss. I have had no visible side effects during this time. 2 weeks ago I stopped finasteride having read about side effects possible linkage on this site - but this doesn't seem to have changed the situation in anyway. The only difference I notice now is that the semen is potentially more liquidy and i have a lower libido currently - although depsite the pain I can enjoy sex. Sexual intercourse around 2 or 3 times a week.

I drink very little alcohol (a glass of wine a week, sometimes nothing), don't smoke, don't take drugs, and go to gym regularly three times a week - cardiovascular/ weights. I find that the gym is good to distract me from the pain when it is more intensive.

I am wondering if you can give me any enlightenment and also if you can recommend any solution or something that may improve healing in the area if there is possibility of any damage.
