VULVODYNIA.(tissue abrasion) for no sexual orgasm, but pain and yeast infection

After sex, the opening to my vagina is irritated and red and often a few spots of blood are present. I then get a yeast infection right away and the tissue remains red and swollen for awhile. My Ob-Gyn has stated that the skin surrounding the opening to my vagina is very thin and gave me Estradiol cream that has not worked. (I am not menopausal.) KY jelly does not help. Is there anything I can do to improve (thicken) the skin in that area so I don't get a yeast infection everytime I have sex? Is olive oil safe to use? HELP! This is ruining my sex life.
