My wife and i have always had an exellent sex life together and still do to some extent. Infact, it's probably 50% of our marriage. However, 2 years ago i had a vasectomy done after the birth of our 2nd child. The doctor told me that there would be no change in my desire, semen content or color, and so on. But in the last year or so, i've been having somewhat of a problem maintaining an erection for more than 5 minutes at times. Sometimes i can hold one for 25 to 30 minutes.
When we have sex, i usually start out gently massaging her clitoris and keep going until i get her really excited, sometimes she comes 6-7 times until i get on her. We've done this for years and i've been able to maintain an erection the whole time and until we're done having sex. Now, there's times when i start out hard as a rock, but whe it comes time to penetrate her, my erection isn't hard enough to have intercourse with her.If we have a quickie before i go to work, i'm fine because this lasts only 5 minutes or so. But if whe have a night together with no interference from the kids, sometimes the foreplay is to long for me ,and this time period is only approx. 15 minutes or so until the intercourse begins.
Could this be caused by the vasectomy? I've never had this problem until i had this done. My wife is only 27 and if the 30-40 year age group is the best times for a woman, i definately don't want to miss out.Can you give me any help on this issue?
