At age 25 I had a Vascectomy. This at the urging of my Wife (we had 4 children). I was assured that this procedure could have no effect on my sexual performance or desire. However,following the vascectomy my sexual desire diminished rapidly. By age 40, I had virtually lost all desire for sex, however I underwent testing and was advised that I had no physical problems that were causing my sexual dysfunction.
Now I am 66 years old. I have not been able to have regular sex in more than 20 years. Using pornographic materials I have been able to have an orgasm, however my penis stays relaively soft. I seldom even bother to try masterbation since I have no interest in sex whatever.
Is it possible that my vascectomy caused my early loss of sex desire?
