Case Study -   Exercise and sex; for better erection and sexual orgasm?  
Hello Dr. Lin. I enjoy your website...very informative.

I do have some questions though. I've heard a rumor that 
if a person masturbates every day or frequently, that 
they will go blind! Is there any factual validity to 
this rumorous claim? What's the best way for a person to 
control his/her libido? Also, a friend of mine is a 
martial artist trained in Hung Gar Shaolin Kung Fu. He 
says that for the most part you have to abstain from sex 
while doing "Iron Palm/Body", the "Iron Wire/Iron 
Thread" set, and chi gung exercises, otherwise you can 
become sick and damage internal organs. Can a man do all 
of these exercises and still engage in sex? If so, 
should he have sex at a much lower frequency? Personally 
I am 28 years old and what frequency of masturbation or 
sex should I commit to?

Over-masturbation results in weak vision due to overburning of the brain's acetylcholine, dopamine and serotonin.
Acetylcholine is responsible for visual and auditory sensitivity while dopamine for the signal amplification of the sensing nervous circuits.
A low serotonin level in the brain/nervous systems will allow more dopamine-adrenaline (stress hormone) conversion in the brain and adrenal glands, resulting in anxiety, stress, fatigue and metal disorder.

As a result, the brain/central nervous systems becomes to weak to drive the endocrine function for DHEA and testosterone production.
You can not have sex or extreme physical exercises (Shaoline Kung Fu or weight lifting) with a low DHEA or testosterone level.

Extreme exercises will kill libido, erection and menstruation disorder.
