My friend Sue is suffering chronically from Insomnia of late and has tried several different remedies that so far have proven to either be ineffective or have little noticeable effect. I have suggested 5HTP, melatonin, turkey sandwiches before bed etc; however, Sue remains with the problem.

On further discussion she suggested that she may be suffering from either an over or under active thyroid condition that is in fact hereditary within the female side of her lineage. Yes! Generally, a high dose of 5-HTP, 2 tablets a day, can help her out.
A light snack with cookies and our 5-HTP formula can help the pineal gland elevates melatonin for sleeping.
Carbohydrate foods and B-6 can do the trick too, but the carbohydrate can increase blood sugar and be stored as fat in cells, leading to weight gain.
Our 5-HTP contains a high dose of Niacin (B-3) to burn bad cholesterol. For some people with a high cholesterol level, they can feel cholesterol burning in the skin deep if they take 5-HTP in the empty stomach. So, We  recommend taking 5-HTP after meal or snack.
If she is in her 35 or older, insomnia can also be associated with a hormonal deficiency in the brain where the dopamine nervous system, hypothalamus and pituitary have over-worked on the production of LH and FSH in an attempt to revive the weakening ovarian (testicular for men) function. The brain's overheating can produce insomnia.
Generally, for all the possible problems she may encounter, a low dose of ViaPla-hGH-M (3-014) is the best for her.
