Young women's orgasmic pain in the Luteal Phase of her menstrual cycle

Dear Dr Lin,

I have had orgasms since a very young age and although it took a lot longer when I was younger I never had any pain. However now I experience major cramps after orgasm (particularly strong orgasms), but only at certain times in my cycle i.e. about a week before menstruation. They feel like very intense period pains, which I suffer from during menstruation and take pain killers every month for. The pain after orgasm lasts for about 10 minutes before completely disappearing, during this time however I almost vomit with the intensity of the pain and after the last episode feel like I never want to experience orgasm again.

Is there anything that can help with this?
