I am a 27 year old male suffering from premature ejaculation.  I have not normally been able to last more than, say, a few minutes, if it had been a while since I'd had sex, but normally after one episode of sex I would be able to last considerably longer.

This summer I was backpacking and met a girl.  I admittedly masturbated a couple of times before sleeping with her, but for the next week with her, I had very strong erections and was able to last for long periods of time - we would have sex for an hour in the morning and another hour or so in the afternoon or night, or both.  I did not have to ejaculate if I didnt want to - I had not had this kind of control previously, apart from when I first met the girl who was my first sexual encounter.  Despite the frequency of sex, I was coming only once every day or two days.  The sex with the new girl was fantastic - my penis didnt feel numb, but i could let her hold my penis between her hands, be inside her or her mouth, and have no hint of needing to ejaculate.  More generally I was feeling very happy, confident, and well rested.  Two weeks later, when she came to visit me in my home country, my body seemed physically different.  I couldnt last as long, and things became progressively worse.  Instead of getting better as we had more sex, I became more and more sensitive.  At times I couldnt even hold on until I was inside her.  This made me very anxious, and this anxiety was added to by my university course at the time.  My penis became hypersensitive - I could feel it rubbing in my trousers and would already know that I would need to come soon if we started to go to bed.  I was coming as much as three times a day.  My erections also became a bit less strong.  This went on for some six weeks, until she left.  That was three weeks ago, but I am still hypersensitive and need to come almost instantly if I masturbate.  I am anxious, a bit weak, very tired, low on confidence and finding it a bit hard to concentrate, though I dont know which of these symptoms are cause and effect.

I had acupuncture for the first time today.  The Dr said I had kidney chi deficiency, and that this was a result of losing so much of it when I was having lots of sex when the girl and I first met.  To me, this doesnt feel totally right, because I felt so strong back then.  She said that I need to not have sex more than once or twice a week, and that other steps I can take are eating a balanced diet (she says there is nothing in particular to eat or to avoid), exercising (both of which I do), getting more sleep, and massaging two points on the kidney meridien on my feet.  I am also going to start taking Golden Lock kidney tablets.

I don't know what happened in the summer to mean that I could go for as long as i wanted, but the situation has not merely declined from there but got much worse than it's been before.  I would like to emphasise that I was not able to last as long as I wanted prior to the summer, but things were not as bad as now.  I desperately want to be like I was in the summer.

Please please advise me if you are sure of what I should do.  

As a side note, the Dr told me that cutting down on sex was something I really had to do, because it depleted your kidney chi so much.  I asked whether there were other ways to boost kidney chi so that I could keep having lots of sex, but she seemed skeptical.

Your original erection was induced by inflammatory hormone prostaglandin E2 and histamine  induced by excessive stress hormones norepinephrine and epinephrine in your prostate, penis, urethra and bulbourethral glands..  The same hormones causes your premature ejaculation, hypersensitization of your prostate and penis, and persistent sexual arousal for more sex, while your pituitary can still release sufficient oxytocin to keep your desire fire burning, but leading to sexual exhaustion and the ultimate neuroplasticity of your hyperactive noradrenergic/adrenergic/sympathetic nervous systems and your exhausted cholinergic/vegal/serotonin/GABA nervous systems for chronic sexual exhaustion symptoms. Your premature ejaculation, depression, anxiety and other sexual exhaustion symptoms  are the sexual exhaustion induced sympathetic nervous Fight/Flight responses to the psychological (emotional) and physical stresses, vision, healing, kissing or touching, as a result of a lack of  cholinergic(acetylcholine/vegal), serotonin and GABA nervous control on the dopamine-norepinephrine-epinephrine conversion  in your hypothalamus, limbic system, hippocampus and adrenal glands. Excessive norepinephrine and epinephrine also constrict the arteries to your brain, testicles, prostate and testicles for poor blood circulation while excessive prostaglandin E2, as induced by Excessive norepinephrine and epinephrine , also causes excessive cortisol. As a result, you become stupid and can not concentrate your mind!
Excessive norepinephrine and epinephrine dilate your eye pupils, trigger ear ringing or buzzing,  inflame the brain, internal orgasns, bulbourethral glands and prostate by inducing excessive inflammatory hormone production, hyperactivate  the bladder, prostate and urethra nerves for frequent urination and ejaculation urgency (precum leakage and premature ejaculation), cause autoimmune disorders, activates excessive histamine  and glutamate release,  block the endorphine release, over-stimulate the sympathetic nervous function to take over the autonomic nervous system (vegal/parasympathetic nervous function),  hyper-sensitize the urethra, glans penis, prostate, seminal vesicles and bladder for over-reaction symptoms (frequently empty urgency), constrict the arteries to the brain, prostate,  testicles, penis and hands/legs/feet for poor blood circulation, thin the veins,  and  produce the negative neuroplasticity for the dopamine/cholinergic/serotonin/GABA nerves and synapses and positive neuroplasticity of the norandrenergic/andrenergic/sympathetic nerves and synapses.
These problems indicate your hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis is very exhausted and neuroplastic.
You should get Involuntary prostate/PC muscle contraction in response to sexual stimulation such as vision, hearing, kissing, touching or vaginal penetration
Involuntary PC muscle contraction,  named as  the Parkison's symptom of PC muscle,   is a positive neuroplasticity of the sympathetic nerves L1 and L2 while the central dopamine, cholinergic/vegal, serotonin and GABA nervous control are too weak.  You should reverse the neuroplasticity of the the Parkison's symptom in your prostate/PC muscle with anal breathing and reduce the precum/semen leakage.
