I had a Vasectomy done 6 months ago. I now experience Pain during the slow "growth" phase of an erection during the beginning stages of each sexual encounter. This pain is not in the testicles themselves, but rather in the area where the cut and "tie-off" was done on the Vas Defrens. I have no idea if this is what is occuring, but I can best describe it as "sperm getting ready for the encounter by starting to rush by the millions up the tubes on their way to the seminal vesicle, only to be stopped by a blockade - and like racing traffic, they build up and create pressure/pain at that spot." The only time I felt this sort of discomfort was during the procedure when the Dr was pulling the tubes to do the cut. Sometimes the pain ocurrs in both sides, but mostly just the left side. The pain is almost instant upon semi-hardness, lasts anywhere from 5 seconds to 30 seconds, and varies slightly in severity. After another minute or 2, it will occur again. Usually this will re!
peat no more than 3 times during 'foreplay', and eventually things can happen like normal, but it is a very painful series of Spasms, and usually causes the erection to deflate slightly each time. I also noticed a drastic DECREASE in semen volume when compared to before the procedure. I do notice the pain even during the occasional masturbation (every 2 or 3 days), but I am usually not as aroused and so the erection and the pain is equally proportionate and not as intense.

I have not been experiencing anything additional, like depression or other pains. No decrease in desire. But I have always dealt with occasional PE and much less than full engorgement during erections. This has not gotten any worse since the Vasectomy. A problem I would address after getting rid of the pain. I also think that my overall penis length is decreasing which I thought was impossible, but I just read some information here on your site about this phenomenon being true and normal, and that it can be addressed. The Dr who performed the Vasectomy procedure is baffled at the pain problem, and he prescribed everything from a regimen of large doses of anti-inflamatories (ibuprofen), to antibiotics, and next he wants to do a testicular sonogram to "see" what might be there (we've not yet done the sonogram - not enough $ for the test). Everyone that I've spoken to that has had a Vasectomy has never experienced this. Is this really that rare, and what can I do to rid myself of this Pain?
